As I develop an object, I ask what is the conversation? Is this piece just talking or can it listen? When you live with an object, it evokes a feeling in you, be it overtly or something more subconscious - it is an everyday interaction and an important one. The meaning and value of an object reveals itself over time, reflecting the consideration and patience invested in the design process. It is in this process I seek to design objects that listen, effortlessly adapting to the changing needs of a home and the people in it.
